Helena Trimmer, BA, LICSW, LCSW-C
Helena is a service-focused Social Worker with a strong commitment to serving the needs of disadvantaged children, youth and young adults, including homeless and people with disabilities. Helena has over 20 years of experience working with children and youth impacted by abuse and neglect, managing mental health concerns and/or have come in contact with the juvenile detention and the foster care system. She also has 10 years of experience working at the DC Department on Disability Services in Washington DC.

Ms. Gwendolyn Taylor, MS, CASAC
Gwendolyn holds over 20 years of experience working with children and families in low socioeconomic and disadvantage neighborhoods. She has a strong advocate for adolescent development, crisis intervention, and drug prevention. Gwendolyn has been trained to facilitate many Evidenced Based Programs (EBP’s) to help decrease risk factors facing children and families and increase protective factors. These EBP’S include: Botvin Life Skills, Strengthening Families, Teen Intervene and others. Gwendolyn also runs Cognitive Behavioral groups such as: Teen groups, Self-help groups and Relapse Prevention groups such as, Anger Management, Effective Communication, Relapse Prevention, Sexual Education, Reproductive Health and Parenting.
Gwendolyn holds a Bachelors degree in English from Medgar Evers College, a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership from Nyack College, a New York State Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) and is a certified in Christian Counseling.
